The tandem is unique because it has dual steering, meaning both handle bars steer the front wheel of the bicycle. It is however possible to move the front handle bar to an integrated fitting that blocks the front steering, the bicycle is then steered solely from the "adult position". The fact that the child can sit in front and enjoy the view and the feeling of the wind on the face makes riding the tandem even more enjoyable for both parent and child.
The front part of the frame fits children from around the age of 3 (approx. 80 cm tall) to small adults (approx. 165 cm tall) just by changing the seat pin. This is due to the fact that Meybike® has a unique bracket that makes it possible to raise the front crank so the required "leg length" is shortened.
